As we near the end of our TESL teacher's college training, we recently celebrated our upcoming graduation (in June) and said "bon voyage" to a fellow student from Japan, Mari. This week she will return to her home in Sakaki town, Nagano prefecture, for a well deserved holiday. The rest of us are still slogging away at assignments! Mari is a talented young woman, who will begin her M. Ed. studies at Brock University this summer...
Updated note: We just received our final grades and will be graduating on June 13th. Our TESL teaching adventures begin this summer, with some of us teaching Intensive English to international students at local colleges and universities, and others venturing overseas.

Niagara Ice Wine Festival 2006
